"A cross-party coalition of 101 politicians from 16 EU countries has called on Denmark's Fayard shipyard to stop repairing and maintaining Arc7 ice-class LNG tankers that transport Russian liquefied natural gas. The yard is the last in the EU servicing these vessels, each of which has carried an average of 5.3 million tonnes of Russian LNG worth about €4 billion since the invasion. Fayard says it complies with current EU rules and will stop the work by end-2026, when the EU's 20th sanctions package LNG embargo takes effect."
