"The first of 89 prefabricated concrete elements for the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel has been installed after a complex multi-day operation. The 18 km immersed tunnel between Denmark and Germany is expected to open by 2029, significantly reducing travel time between Scandinavia and Central Europe. It is one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects."
