"The European Commission has imposed a €200 million fine on Chinese e-commerce platform Temu, the largest ever under the Digital Services Act (DSA). Brussels found that Temu failed to systematically detect and remove dangerous products, including faulty chargers and baby toys. The fine represents 0.38% of Temu’s estimated 2025 turnover (€53 billion). Temu has three months to pay and until August 28, 2026, to submit a corrective action plan. The company can appeal to European courts."
