"On 14 July, the Lithuanian Seimas approved the new government of Mindaugas Sinkevičius with 72 votes. The coalition includes the Social Democratic Party (LSDP), the Union of Democrats 'For Lithuania' (DSVL), and a group comprising the agrarian Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS) and the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance (AWPL–ZChR), commanding 75 seats. This is the third government in the current term. The opposition challenges its constitutionality. The program aims to raise defence spending to over 5% of GDP, strengthen social support, and address minority rights, but lacks identified funding sources."
