"On the night of Pentecost Sunday, Russia launched a missile and drone attack on Kyiv, severely damaging several cultural institutions. The National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Architecture and Life, an open-air museum, suffered damage to wooden churches and other structures. The Taras Shevchenko National Museum and the National Academic Drama Theatre were also hit. Artworks had been evacuated beforehand, so no losses of art pieces were reported. The Ukrainian government condemned the attack as deliberate destruction of cultural heritage."
