"France's Directorate General for Armaments (DGA) published a tender on June 26, 2026 for up to 2 million 12.7×99mm NATO cartridges. The framework agreement is valued at a maximum of €99 million over seven years. Components (primer, powder, metal parts) must be produced in the EU or EEA; third-country operators are excluded. Four European bidders are expected, including FN Browning (Belgium) with production in France."
