"The French Directorate General of Armament (DGA) has launched a tender to replace the aging CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) reconnaissance vehicles used by the 2nd Dragoon Regiment. As the sole unit within the French Army specialized in CBRN defense, the regiment currently relies on outdated VAB-based platforms. This modernization project aims to provide the unit with updated mobile capabilities to detect and respond to complex chemical and biological threats, ensuring the army's long-term readiness in hazardous environments."
