The offer is €128.50 per share, valuing the company at €2.2 billion. The deal would start with the purchase of the controlling stake held by the Gorgé family, followed by a mandatory tender offer. Exail, formed in 2022 from the merger of ECA Group and iXblue, employs 2,000 people and had €370 million revenue in 2024. Safran aims to bolster its defense business."
