"Georg Kolbe's 'Dancer Fountain' (Tänzerinnenbrunnen), created in 1922 for Jewish insurance manager Heinrich Stahl, will be auctioned by Grisebach in Berlin on June 4. The sculpture was recently restituted from the Kolbe Museum to Stahl's heirs. Estimated at €1-1.5 million, it is the top lot. The summer auctions feature 280 works with a total low estimate of €11.6 million, down from €20 million last year, reflecting a cautious market.
