"Ryanair has sent a letter to Spain's Interior Minister requesting the suspension of the EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) until September. The low-cost carrier reports queues of 1-2 hours at seven Spanish airports during the peak tourist season, causing passengers to miss flights. Greece has already suspended the system. Ryanair has made similar requests to 29 other countries."
