"Russian authorities are preparing a bill to comprehensively regulate the domestic cryptocurrency market. Originally set for July 1, 2026, the law is now expected to pass in autumn due to disputes. The Central Bank will gain near-total control over domestic crypto operations, while cross-border crypto payments are largely permitted to bypass Western sanctions."
