"The Document Foundation (TDF) has unveiled a new strategy for LibreOffice, including browser and smartphone apps. A dedicated team for mobile, cloud, and peer-to-peer development has been formed. The browser version is based on a WebAssembly prototype with Qt 6. For 2026, test builds for Android and iOS are planned, along with initial collaborative editing tests. Desktop remains the primary focus."
