0xBASE INTEL BRIEF
- AndroMach's Banger rocket engine test campaign successful: 21 ignitions, 7 minutes total burn
- Envol drone specifications: 4m length, 30 kg payload, Mach 5, 200 km altitude
- First flight Envol XP1 planned 2026-27, operational version 2028
"French startup AndroMach, supported by CNES and DGA, completed successful static fire tests of its Banger rocket engine for the Envol suborbital drone. The 4-meter drone can carry 30 kg payload, reach Mach 5 and 200 km altitude. The engine was ignited 21 times totaling 7 minutes burn time, proving reusability. First flight of Envol XP1 prototype is scheduled for 2026-27, with operational version by 2028. Envol will be used for microgravity experiments, technology testing, and as a target for military evaluation."
