"The New York Times reports that Russian hackers were behind the 2025 cyberattack on Jaguar Land Rover, which halted production for months and cost the UK economy an estimated $2.5 billion. Microsoft tracked the group and alerted JLR. The FBI, UK National Crime Agency, NCSC, Mandiant, and Palo Alto Networks all participated in the investigation. A Jordanian hacker named Rey also breached JLR networks."
