"Germany's Federal Network Agency reports 203,951 public charging points as of May 1, 2026, an increase of almost 30,000 from a year earlier. Total connected load rose to 8.75 GW, up 28 percent. While AC points still dominate, DC fast-charging points, especially those with 300 kW or more, grew 40 percent to 18,209."
