"NASA's Perseverance rover has traveled 42.195 km on Mars, becoming only the second rover to achieve a marathon distance on another celestial body. Two days before the milestone, it was photographed from orbit by the HiRISE camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The image shows the rover as a greenish dot west of Jezero Crater, along with its tracks."
