"The Labraza wind farm in Álava, Basque Country, is the first in Euskadi to offer a crowdlending scheme to citizens. Residents of Labraza, Barriobusto, Oion and Rioja Alavesa can invest from €1,000 to €100,000 for three years with a guaranteed annual interest of 7%. The total crowdfunding via Fundeen is capped at €3 million. The 40 MW project by Iberdrola and the Basque Energy Agency EVE costs €59 million and will increase regional wind capacity by 26%."
