Current capital stands at ~€500 million. A first injection of €1.5 billion is set for 2026, to be phased in over four years, targeting total capital of €2 billion. Regalado noted the Spanish peer ICO recently received €13 billion. BPF has non-performing loans of only €16 million out of €11 billion disbursed and rejects only 5% of applications. It manages over 10% of Portugal's PRR funds with 100% execution."
