"Spanish hacker José Luis Huertas (Alcasec) has accepted a sentence of two years and seven months before the Audiencia Nacional. He gained access to the Punto Neutro Judicial using a stolen digital certificate and subsequently made 438,099 queries to the tax agency's expanded bank account service. Two accomplices also received sentences. The prosecution cited confession and cooperation. Alcasec is already in pretrial detention for another case."
