"Russian occupation authorities declared a regional state of emergency in Crimea on 26 June after Ukrainian drone and missile attacks severely damaged the peninsula's energy and transport infrastructure. Strikes targeted power substations, thermal power plants, and a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal. Passenger train service between Crimea and Russia is being gradually cancelled. Meanwhile, Ukraine reports progress in countering Russian advances in the east, particularly in resupplying troops along the Oskil River. Russian drone and missile attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine have increased, according to the UN."
