"In 2023, OCCAR notified the VBAE program to the consortium of Arquus (now John Cockerill Defense) and KNDS France. In May 2026, France and Belgium signed an agreement defining the specifications for the future armored support vehicle. This joint procurement program strengthens Franco-Belgian industrial cooperation in armored vehicles."
