Denmark acquires French SDZ mine-clearing robot (opex360.com)

• Denmark signs contract for multiple SDZ mine-clearing robots from CEFA (France).
• 10-12 tonne robot replaces older MineWolf systems; operated from Patria XA-300.
• Part of Danish 1st Heavy Brigade modernization, complements other robotic acquisitions.

"The Danish Ministry of Defence has contracted for multiple units of the French SDZ (Zone Decontamination System) heavy mine-clearing robot, manufactured by CEFA. The 10-12 ton, air-transportable robot is designed for large-area clearance and breach operations in high-intensity combat. It will replace older MineWolf SPARK II MIRR systems and be assigned to engineer units of the 1st Heavy Brigade. The contract value was undisclosed."
