"A Russian drone struck a block of flats in the Romanian city of Galati, injuring two people (a woman with first-degree burns and a 14-year-old boy with a panic attack). NATO scrambled two F-16s from Air Base 86 in Fetesti. Romania's Defence Ministry confirmed the drone was Russian and entered Romanian airspace. Approximately 70 residents were evacuated. The incident follows a previous drone crash in Baseti, Maramures County, and is part of a series of drone incursions near NATO borders, condemned by EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as a deliberate Russian destabilization strategy."
