"The European Court of Justice ruled that a work public domain in one EU member state may be offered online for free even if still copyrighted in others, provided effective geoblocking is implemented. VPN circumvention does not invalidate the blocking. The ruling concerns Anne Frank's diary (Case C-788/24)."
