He commanded Apache squadrons, led helicopter operations, and directed the Netherlands Defence Intelligence and Security Service. As Vice Chief of Defence, he sat on the Cyber Security Council. As CHOD, he is the senior military adviser to the Defence Minister, overseeing all armed service commanders and implementing Defence Vision 2035."
