"STMicroelectronics unveiled the ST54M, a combined NFC controller and secure element with hardware acceleration for post-quantum cryptography algorithms ML-KEM (FIPS-203) and ML-DSA (FIPS-204). Targeting smartphones, smartwatches, and wearables, it also supports secure UWB communication. The chip integrates ARM Cortex-M35P cores and fits in a package under 4 mm."
