"The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) launched the Mission Robotic Vehicle (MRV) on July 21, 2026, to service satellites in geosynchronous orbit. The robot will take about a year to reach its target orbit. It is designed to inspect, repair, and upgrade satellites. The RSGS program is a public-private partnership with Northrop Grumman. Launch was via a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral."
