"The German Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has awarded a contract to Thales Deutschland GmbH for 60 Ground Observer 12 (GO 12) ground surveillance radars, with delivery by end of 2026. The contract includes accessories, spare parts, and training. The GO 12, known as MURIN in French service, weighs under 40 kg, provides 360-degree surveillance up to 24 km, and has been in use by the French Army since 2019. Germany had previously ordered over a thousand GO 12 for Ukraine."
