"Dr. Bardhyl Kollçaku was appointed Permanent Representative of Albania to NATO in March 2026. He brings over 30 years of military leadership, including as Chief of the General Staff (2017–2020) and senior NATO roles. After retiring, he served as a Member of Parliament (2021–2025) on security committees. He holds a PhD and a Master's in Public Administration, and speaks English, Greek, and Italian."
