"According to German specialist site Hartpunkt, the German Air Force is in discussions with Airbus Defence & Space to acquire 10 to 20 additional A400M transport aircraft. Neither Airbus nor the German Ministry of Defence has confirmed the report. The order, if confirmed, would help maintain the A400M production line, which faces closure due to a lack of export contracts."
