"The French Defence Innovation Agency (AID) evaluated the Skydweller MAPS, a solar-powered pseudo-satellite derived from Solar Impulse 2, for operational maritime surveillance. The aircraft can carry 400 kg of payload and flew for ten days during testing. Results will inform doctrine and acquisition decisions. The US Navy previously completed a 73-day flight, and Thales has signed a letter of intent to integrate the AirMaster S radar."
