"Airbus has chosen Seville as the site for its second global A330 MRTT conversion center, previously only located in Getafe. The new facility, announced at ADM Seville 2026, is expected to be operational by end of 2027. It will increase annual conversion capacity from five to seven aircraft, driven by rising demand due to the Ukraine war and increased European defense spending. The plant will also perform maintenance and modernization work, creating about 200 direct and 600 indirect jobs."
