"On July 6–7 2026, during the return voyage of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, the French Navy successfully tested a new configuration of the Rafale M F4 carrying two AASM 1,000 kg air-to-ground modular bombs per aircraft. Two Rafale M launched from the carrier each released two AASM 1000 bombs, all four hitting the designated target at the Keravia range in Greece. The aircraft also carried a Talios targeting pod, two MICA missiles, and two external fuel tanks. The Navy confirmed this validates a new operational capability."
