"The EU's 19th sanctions package against Russia is due for adoption on Wednesday, days after US President Donald Trump reportedly sent NATO a letter stating he would only impose sanctions on Russia if allied states stop purchasing Russian oil and adopt tariffs against China. In Poland, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski meets Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a visit long planned but newly significant after the Polish-Belarusian border lockdown disrupted a key route for China's New Silk Road into Europe.
