"The EU Commission is expected next week to preliminarily classify Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure as gatekeepers under the Digital Markets Act (DMA). This would subject the cloud services to stricter rules including interoperability and data portability. The final decision is due by end of 2026.
