"A 16mm print of the pilot episode 'No Such Thing as a Vampire' from the 1968 BBC series 'Late Night Horror' was found by projectionist Darren Payne in Dorset. The episode, written by Richard Matheson and directed by Paddy Russell, was thought destroyed. Its disappearance was due to BBC's tape-wiping policy, not because it was too scary. A public screening is planned for September 20, 2026, at Grindfest."
