The deal mirrors a similar agreement between Anthropic and SpaceX. Google says the compute is a short-term bridge to meet surging demand for its Gemini Enterprise AI products. Alphabet has committed over $180 billion in capital expenditures for 2026. Both parties can terminate with 90 days notice after December 31, 2026. SpaceX is set to go public the following week."
