"On 17 June 2026, Ariane 6 flight VA269 lifted off from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana at 09:21 local time (14:21 CEST), carrying 36 satellites for Amazon's LEO constellation. This was the first use of four P160C-based solid rocket boosters, which hold 156 tonnes of propellant each—14 tonnes more than the previous P120C. The upgraded boosters increase the rocket's payload capacity and competitiveness, reinforcing Europe's autonomous access to space."
