"Germany's Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) released initial findings from its second nationwide mobile network measurement week (June 24 – July 1, 2026). Over 60,000 users submitted nearly 20 million data points via the app. 98% of measurements showed 4G or 5G coverage, with 5G rising to almost 70% of points. Participation dropped sharply from over 150,000 in 2025 to about 60,000. The agency cautioned that results are not representative and depend on device and contract. Detailed district-level data is expected by the end of July at breitbandmessung.de."
