"Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced during a visit to Taiwan that the company will invest $150 billion per year in the region, including a new headquarters in Taipei. Huang called Taiwan the 'epicenter of the AI revolution.' The investment is a significant increase from about $10-15 billion annually five years ago. Stock prices of Taiwanese chip firms such as TSMC, MediaTek, and Delta Electronics rose on the news. Nvidia is expected to replace Apple as TSMC's largest customer this year."
