"US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Slovakia and Hungary after the Munich Security Conference. Slovak PM Fico pledged additional F-16 purchases and enhanced US-CEE energy cooperation. In Budapest, Rubio pressed PM Orbán to reduce Russian energy dependence. Meanwhile, the UK and German chiefs of defence co-authored an op-ed warning of Russian military buildup and calling for European rearmament.
