"China for the first time recovered the first stage of a launch vehicle. The stage of the new Long March 10B rocket was caught on a sea platform using a rope-capture device. It launched from Hainan spaceport and delivered a satellite to orbit. State news agency Xinhua called it a significant breakthrough. While SpaceX is far ahead in reusable rockets, China is the second country with this capability, according to Chinese state media."
