"The explosion of Blue Origin's fully fueled New Glenn rocket on May 28, 2026, severely damaged Launch Complex 36A at Cape Canaveral. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman estimated repairs could take up to two years, possibly until 2028. Blue Origin had planned multiple missions for 2026, including a NASA lunar lander mission. NASA will now rely on SpaceX for heavy lift. Amazon's Kuiper satellite internet project is also affected."
