"Portugal will have 20 submarine cables connected to its coast by end-2026, according to a study by the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal. The cables, including Google's Nuvem and the planned Sol, are expected to trigger over €10 billion in investments in data centers, cloud, and AI.
