"General Wiesław Kukuła (born 1972) started his military career in 1992 at the Signal Corps Academy. He served in special forces, deployed to Iraq, and commanded the Territorial Defense Forces. Promoted to general on 9 November 2023, he became Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. He holds a master's in electronics and telecommunications, is married with two sons, and has interests in unconventional warfare and project management."
