"The Portuguese energy regulator ERSE announced a 6.4% increase in natural gas prices in the regulated market for the period from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027. This is the third-highest rise in five years, after 10.7% (2022/23) and 6.9% (2024/25). For a typical family with two children, the monthly bill increases by €1.62 to €32.53.
