"Researchers identified the Russian satellite Kosmos 2546 from the EKS constellation as the source of seconds-long GPS interference bursts across Europe, occurring on 75 days between January 2019 and April 2026. The interference affected the GPS L1 band and was also detected on the Chinese BeiDou band. Intent remains unknown, with theories ranging from testing for future jamming attacks to communication signals."
