"Following Artemis II's success, China announced plans to expand its Tiangong space station from a three-module T-shape to a six-module cross shape, increasing mass from 100 to 180 tons. Crew capacity will double to six astronauts, with construction starting around 2027 via Long March 5B rockets. China also opened Tiangong to foreign astronauts, starting with Pakistan. The ISS is scheduled for decommissioning by 2031, potentially leaving Tiangong as the sole crewed station in low Earth orbit."
