ESA Scientific Observation of Interstellar Comet 3I/ATLAS (esa.int)
0xBASE INTEL BRIEF
- Multi-asset observation campaign using ground and space-based sensors
- Juice spacecraft utilized for strategic vantage-point analysis
- Global collaboration on interstellar physical data acquisition
"The European Space Agency (ESA) has mobilized a global array of assets to track and study the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. Following its July 2025 discovery, ESA utilized ground-based stations and space telescopes including Hubble, JWST, and XMM-Newton. Unique observation data from the Juice probe—currently positioned for deep-space science—is providing high-fidelity information regarding the object's composition. This mission demonstrates Europe's ability to coordinate interplanetary fleets for rapid-response astronomical research."
