"China has launched a 29-character identity code for humanoid robots as part of a comprehensive lifecycle management platform. The code, segmented into country, manufacturer, model, and serial number, is designed to be unique and immutable for each unit. Led by the HEIS committee under MIIT, the initiative involves over 50 organizations, covering 100 companies and assigning codes to more than 28,000 humanoid robots, aiming to standardize tracking from production to recycling."
